Great design is in the details—and at Archipelago Hawaii, we work hard for our clients to pay attention to all the right details in order to create a distinctly Hawaiian design scheme. From window treatments to upholstery to bathroom sinks, little details band together to create beautiful designs. This month we’re taking a closer look at some of the unique and inventive sinks that have rejuvenated our favorite bathroom projects.
One of our earliest projects, Compact Sophistication
is a kitchen and bath remodel in a Honolulu condo. Since we were working with limited space, our design team paid special attention to the select features of the project, such as cabinetry, sconces, and sinks. We love the Zen above-counter basin by Porcher in the remodeled bathroom, which boasts a unique, freeform design and blends well with the relaxing space.
In our Kailua Home project, we had the opportunity to work with an elegant powder room to create a peaceful, East Asia atmosphere. We selected a gorgeous Laguna antique copper sink by Native Trails, which pairs perfectly with the Indonesian designed mirror and Bali Aga cabinet piece.
In a remodeling project boasting a similar design scheme, Bluestone
utilizes another stunning sink that proved to be a hit with the homeowners! We selected a simple yet one-of-a-kind white vessel sink to accompany our inspiring vintage cabinet piece from Bali Aga, which we repurposed into a vanity.
The Bay House
When tackling our Bay House
project, we looked for any and all opportunities to transform the home into a luxurious, beachside oasis, and we did just that with this beautiful vessel sink courtesy of our friends at Maui Ceramics. This unique sink boasting a gorgeous monstera design perfectly complements the repurposed teak vanity from Bali, which pulls together the tropical look.
Whether you’re looking for coastal cool or hoping to create your own tropical oasis, we hope these spectacular sinks will inspire your next bathroom remodel! For more design tips, give us a call at (808) 263-8891.
