Kitchen, living room and dining room flow seamlessly together
New, updated air conditioning
Under counter wine unit
Archipelago Solution:
The washer/dryer, hot water heater and old air conditioning unit were in the corner of the kitchen
The new split A/C units required an interior wall build out for copper piping.
The plumbing for the existing sink could not be moved.
Unique Design Elements:
The minimum 36” clearance for a single cook was minimized to 35 11/16”. This was accomplished by: minimal build out for the A/C plumbing, creating a niche for wine unit and backsplash for cook top area.
Due to homeowners request for additional appliances, separate oven and cook top locations, appliance doors were located across from each other.
Corner solution accomplished with a mechanical blind corner unit above water heater and narrow pull out unit below. Water heater is accessible by a removable finish panel
Washer/dryer are hidden by matching bi-folding cabinetry doors.
Mix of wood species, glass countertops, granite and modern furnishings created a modern look.
