Totally redesign the dark and small kitchen now with wall-to-wall cabinets
Provide for a greater sense of separation between the kitchen and living room while maintaining some continuity
Design the space to be both elegant and functional

Brighten the kitchen by enlarging the kitchen window and removing a wall that lead to the living room
Incorporate a new peninsula to delineate the kitchen and living room areas and to provide for additional counter space for casual dining
Feature Zen-inspired design elements along with a highly functional room layout for a perfect combination for future happiness

Flawless selection of appliances and materials to create a clean, asymmetrical design
Bamboo flooring connecting the living room to the kitchen providing a seamless transition between the rooms
Placing the casual dining peninsula on legs to give it the look of furniture
